This Purchases & Refunds Policy applies to all products sold through Little Witch Stories (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including physical products and digital downloads, via our WooCommerce store.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Product Types

- Physical products (shipped items)
- Digital products (downloadable files such as guides, templates, and resources)
Different refund and return rules apply depending on the product type.
2. Physical Products – Returns & Refunds (Australian Consumer Law)
Your Rights Under ACL
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:
- Is faulty or defective
- Is not fit for its intended purpose
- Is significantly different from its description
- Arrives damaged
- Is not what you ordered
What We Don’t Refund
We do not offer refunds for change of mind on physical products unless otherwise stated.
How to Request a Return
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order, including:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos if the item is faulty or damaged
If the return is approved:
- We will cover return postage for faulty items
- Refunds will be processed via WooCommerce to your original payment method
3. Digital Products – No Returns or Refunds
Due to the nature of digital content:
All digital product sales are final.
Once a digital product has been:
- Downloaded, or
- Accessed via a download link
It cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded, including for change of mind.
WooCommerce automatically records download access for digital products.
4. Limited Exceptions for Digital Products
Refunds for digital products will only be considered if:
- The file is corrupted or incomplete
- The product cannot be accessed due to a technical issue on our end
- The product was materially misrepresented
Refunds will not be provided for:
- Incorrect expectations
- User error
- Device or software incompatibility (unless explicitly stated)
We will always attempt to resolve access issues before considering a refund.
5. Digital Delivery (WooCommerce + MailPoet)
- Digital products are delivered automatically via WooCommerce
- Download links are sent to the email address provided at checkout
- Customers may also receive order confirmation emails via MailPoet
- It is your responsibility to ensure your email address is entered correctly and to check spam/junk folders
If you do not receive your download link, please contact us.
6. Pricing, Payments & Taxes
- All prices are listed in AUD, unless stated otherwise
- Prices may change at any time
- Payment must be completed in full before products are shipped or downloads are released
- GST will be applied where required
7. Copyright & Licence for Digital Products
All digital products sold on this website are protected by Australian and international copyright laws.
Licence Terms
When you purchase a digital product, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal use only, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
You May:
- Download and store the product for personal use
- Print copies for personal reference (unless stated otherwise)
You May Not:
- Share, resell, distribute, or sublicense the product
- Upload the product to shared drives, websites, or social media
- Use the product for commercial purposes
- Modify and resell the content as your own
Unauthorised use constitutes copyright infringement and may result in:
- Immediate revocation of access
- Account suspension
- Legal action where necessary
8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us first.
Unauthorised chargebacks for digital products may result in:
- Download access being revoked
- Future purchases being restricted
